Project Overview

Technology plays a critical role connecting, informing, and ultimately helping save lives in emergency situations. IMS partnered with the Indian River County Emergency Operations Center to provide technology upgrades for both audio-visual and production studios to enhance the capability and effectiveness of emergency management mission. The project consisted of:

• Main Operations Room with 10 displays, audio system, control system, conferencing system, network-based digital back-bone using Crestron NVX technology, five team meeting tables with AV inputs and telephone tie-in.
• Press briefing room with TV production mixer / cameras system, HD-SDI signal management / transport and presentation / speaker system.
• Broadcast head-end switching and signal conversion system to route Commission meetings and EOC events to telecommunications providers.
